I have long found myself solving communication puzzles – identifying who needs what information from what source and in what manner. As an educator, I have connected the dots between the learning goal and the learner, from preschool to professional studies. As an administrator, I have connected the dots between policy, procedure and practice. As a faculty developer, I have connected the dots between the research base and the concrete realities of teaching in the digital and physical classroom.
I know how to judiciously leverage words, images, videos and relationships to achieve understanding. My goal is to support the work of socially- and civically-minded organizations and businesses as they seek to communicate their missions, values and services.
